The City of Kalamunda Ranger operating hours over the Christmas and New Year period, including closures, reduced hours, animal management information and after-hours contact details.
Christmas Day, 25 December 2025: No Rangers on Duty
Boxing Day, 26 December 2025: No Rangers on Duty
27 December 2025 - 4 January 2026: 7:30am – 3:30pm each day
Please note:
- Residents are encouraged not to trap cats from 19 December 2025 as cats will not be collected, the City’s Animal Management Facility is closed over the Christmas Period.
- Residents who have found animals on Christmas Day or Boxing Day are encouraged to hold until the next working day (27 December 2025) or alternatively take the animal to a local emergency vet.
- Please DO NOT trap cats over this holiday period as Rangers cannot collect until they are back on shift, 27 December 2025.
Normal hours will commence again on Monday 5 January 2026.

If your call is received outside of hours, please leave your details with the after-hours operators. The operators provide contact details to the relevant on-duty staff member
including Rangers. Where not urgent, the City will return your call the following working day.
