Bushfire preparedness – are you ready?

31 July 2025 12:56 PM

Bushfires can strike without warning, and under the right conditions, they can quickly overwhelm firefighting efforts. Complete our survey for your chance to win!

Preparation is key. Protecting your family and property from bushfires is a shared responsibility, and it’s vital that all residents are equipped to prepare, respond safely, and recover effectively.

That’s why the City of Kalamunda runs a bushfire preparedness survey every year. By completing the short survey, you can go in the draw to win great prizes! It also helps you get ready for the warmer months and gives the City useful information to improve bushfire education and support for the community.

The survey only takes a few minutes and provides a great opportunity to start the discussion with your family and neighbours.

How prepared are you? Complete the survey for your chance to win (terms & conditions apply, see Engage for details):

  • 1st prize: STIHL BGA 57 Battery Blower kit
  • 2nd prize: STIHL GTA 26 Garden Pruner kit
  • Plus 10 emergency preparedness bags
Survey closes Friday 31 October 2025. To complete the survey and more information, please visit the City's Engage page.
