Local Planning Strategy: Shape the Future of Your Neighbourhood
The City of Kalamunda is developing a new Local Planning Strategy. This is a vital document that will play key role in how land-use decisions are made going forward.
The strategy will set the long-term direction for how the City manages growth, housing, employment, transport, green spaces and infrastructure.
The first step is to involve our community – what would make your local area even better. Share your vision of how you want your neighbourhood to grow and evolve and join one of the workshops hosted in August.
What do you need to do?
Register! Choose a workshop at a time and place that suits you and bring your ideas and aspirations.
The workshops will be run by a third party so you can share your ideas freely. And they’ll be catered so you can fully focus on participating.
Why should you do it?
The Local Planning Strategy is updated every 15 years. This will set the direction of how your local area will change over time. Be part of the conversation so you can ensure your opinion counts.
If you live, play or work in the City, this is your chance to have your say. Bring your valuable knowledge and perspective (bring your teenager or grandparents!) to one of our workshops and contribute to the future of the City.
Community workshops are happening all throughout August. Find your local session here: engage.kalamunda.wa.gov.au/local-planning-strategy
