The City of Kalamunda is a local authority with a population of 60,000 located approximately a 35 minute drive from the Perth CBD providing the opportunity to work in a varied planning environment, from rural natural bushland to highly developed residential, commercial and industrial areas.

 About this Opportunity

Provide high-quality customer service and administrative support as the primary point of contact for Environmental Health services. Coordinate customer enquiries, service requests and complaints, maintain business systems and records, and support the efficient delivery of regulatory and public health services.

 About You

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver high-quality customer service as the first point of contact for Environmental Health enquiries, complaints, and service requests.
  • Receive, assess, allocate, and monitor customer requests and complaints to ensure service standards and response timeframes are achieved.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice on Environmental Health services, processes, and relevant legislation to customers and stakeholders.
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the timely resolution of enquiries and service issues.
  • Support administrative processes associated with statutory applications, registrations, permits, and compliance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and data within corporate systems, including customer request management, records management, and Environmental Health databases.
  • Prepare and coordinate reports, correspondence, notices, regulatory documentation, inspections, meetings, and other operational activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, business plans, and service improvement projects to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
