Casual Recreation Facilities Attendants

Salary: Level 3 $36.48 per hour, plus 25% casual loading 

 

About this Opportunity

This role is responsible for providing high-quality customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of Hartfield Park Recreation Centre. The position involves assisting customers with enquiries, performing administrative and cash handling duties, and contributing to the efficient running and promotion of the facility.

Some of the skills and experience required for this position:
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond positively and professionally to customer enquiries 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience handling cash accurately, including receipting, balancing, and end-of-day processes 
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment 
  • Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and strong ethical behaviour 
  • Ability to multitask and perform administrative duties accurately and efficiently 
  • Commitment to Workplace Health and Safety practices and procedures 
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the efficient operation and promotion of the recreation centre 
  • Ability to uphold organisational values of Service, Professionalism, and Quality
  • Envibe leisure management program experience preferred but not essential.

About You
You’ll play an essential role acting as the first point of contact for all visitors to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre. You’ll enjoy working with the public, have excellent customer service and communication skills, be a team player with the ability to approach tasks with confidence and clarity and be able to work using your own initiative.
To be successful for this role you will require:

  • Provide First Aid Accreditation
  • National Police Clearance (no more than 3 months old)
  • Working With Children Check
  • C Class Driver’s License
 
Hours of Work
We are seeking a casual employee to join the team, with flexible hours available based on operational requirements.
These positions are required to work shift combinations including but not limited to:

  • Weekday mornings: 5.45am – 2.30pm
  • Weekday afternoon/late evenings: between 2.30pm – 9.00pm
  • Weekends: between 7.45am to 2.45pm

About the Benefits
This position offers a salary of Level 3 being $36.48 per hour, plus 25% casual loading and superannuation.
