City of Kalamunda Transitions to Burning Permitted Season
The City’s burning permitted season begins on Monday, 1 June 2026.
Nobody Knows: Until We Talk About It
01 August 2026 : 10:30 AM - 01 August 2026 : 1:00 PM
Understanding Death Anxiety and Planning Ahead.
Death is the one guarantee we all share, yet it's the one thing nobody knows how to face without getting anxious.
In this straight-talking session, Taboo Education breaks down why we’re so terrified of the inevitable and offers practical, real-world tools to manage that anxiety. Come learn how to navigate the hard stuff with a little less fear, a lot more honesty, and a bit of humour.
The session will be followed by a presentation from Purslowe & Chipper Funerals, providing practical information about funeral planning, what to expect when arranging a funeral, and the many ways services can be tailored to reflect the wishes, values and lives of those being remembered.
This is a free community event, lunch included.
