In Conversation with Geoff Hutchison
10 September 2025 : 5:30 PM - 10 September 2025 : 7:00 PM
Join us at Kalamunda Library, for an intimate evening with Geoff Hutchison to celebrate the release of his debut novel.
In 2022, Geoff hung up his headphones after a long career as an ABC broadcaster in Perth Western Australia. Before that, he was a journalist on the 7.30 Report and a one-time Foreign Correspondent.
Geoff reckons he has barely worked a day in his life. It has been one of great privilege: talking to people, witnessing extraordinary moments and coming to the understanding that the things we share are far more significant than those that separate us.
After time to reflect on his life journey, Geoff has written his first book "How Not to Become a Grumpy Old Bugger." A gentle piece of life advice for blokes who might just be losing their way. Published by Affirm Media.
Guests will be able to meet Geoff and pick up a signed copy of his book from the friendly Dymocks staff.
Tickets are $10 plus booking fee, and includes delicious, sweet treats, tea & coffee.
