Workshop: How to Prepare Your Artwork for Hanging

Are you exhibiting in our Young Artist Awards this year? Join us for a practical workshop designed to help you ensure your artwork is ready for display and meets all the hanging requirements before drop-off week: Monday 15 September - Monday 22 September.

We will walk you through what's expected and show you exactly how to prepare your artwork for easy and secure installation.

We'll cover:

How to correctly frame or mount 2D artworks (drawings, paintings, photography, etc.)
Attaching D-Rings and secure hanging wire or string
Proper labelling of all works (name, phone number, artwork title on the back)
Requirements for 3D artworks
Additional general Young Artist Award information

Young people entering the Awards, along with their families and friends, are warmly welcome to attend this free workshop.
