The City of Kalamunda was honoured to be awarded a Local Government Professionals Connecting Community Award for community engagement at the Annual State Conference Awards.

In the lead up to the summer holiday home renovation season the City of Kalamunda is warning home owners to be asbestos aware. Over the past two years more than 8,000 deaths from asbestos-related diseases were recorded including asbestosis and lung cancer with an alarming number of deaths from mesothelioma attributed to both occupational (tradies) and non-occupational (homeowners) exposure during residential renovations.

Our Recreation Centre is super excited to have new air conditioning installed to our gym and group fitness room just in time for summer! These works are scheduled between Wednesday, 6 October through to Friday, 8 October 2021 inclusive. The Centre has adjusted classes and will be required to close some parts of the Centre to the public during this period.
