Busy Bees are Happy Bees in the Community Garden
We all have fun tending the patch at KCG and sharing some morning tea after and would love to see more friendly faces there. Please mark in your diaries the dates of the next Busy Bees which are:

Rachel Davison – Homemade cleaning products and Bees wax wraps.
Learn how to make healthy and safe cleaning products and how to make your own Bees Wax Wraps.
19th February: 9am to 10.30am
This workshop will show participants how to create easy, affordable and natural cleaning products for use in the home. We will also be making our own beeswax wraps which are used as a natural alternative to plastic food coverings.
All materials will be supplied but if you would like to bring along your own choice of fabric that is totally fine too! Afterwards there will be a beautiful morning tea to share and time to chat.

May Gibbs Children's Workshop
Bring your 5 to 12 year olds along to the Community Garden this Sunday morning for some fun activities with our very own Norma.
The kids will look at different native plant seeds and seed pods. We will have a discussion about seeds and why plants produce them. Then have a look at how they influenced May Gibbs… finally the kids get to use seed pods and clay to create their own Australian animals from their imagination.
Free for Members and $5 for Non Members
Oranges: There are lots of Oranges ready for picking from our trees at the back please feel free to take some home to enjoy!
