Brand new way to hire City places and spaces
There is a brand new way for community members to hire City of Kalamunda facilities, after the launch of a new partnership with booking company SpacetoCo.
All bookings for City facilities and hireable spaces will now go through the online booking platform.
Mayor Margaret Thomas said the partnership will change the way our community uses shared spaces.
“The activation of our spaces and buildings is vitally important for community development and in helping to build a vibrant and connected community”, she said.
“This new partnership will provide a user-friendly way for people to book community facilities owned by the City, providing a streamlined customer journey while also improving efficiencies in the administration of our hireable spaces.”
“Through this partnership we can begin to use our assets more sustainably and efficiently and encourage increased uptake in the use of City facilities by community members. All of this leads to the improved activation of spaces and better community connectedness”.
SpacetoCo was founded in Western Australia in 2017 with the aim to improve sustainability, support local economies, and improve community connections.
Community members wishing to make a booking are encouraged to visit the City of Kalamunda page on the SpacetoCo website - spacetoco.com/host/kalamundaFor more information contact the City of Kalamunda on (08) 9257 9999, email enquiries@kalamunda.wa.gov.au
