Open for Comment: Cat Local Law 2022

14 January 2022 10:15 AM

The City of Kalamunda is seeking feedback on the Draft of Kalamunda Keeping and Control of Cats Local Law 2022.

The purpose of the proposed local law is for:

  1. cats not to be a nuisance;
  2. cat prohibited areas; and
  3. control of cats in places that are not public.

The effect of the proposed local law is to advise our community on the proposed measures to ultimately reduce the number of stray cats in our community and to encourage responsible cat ownership.
