What’s in a name?
The City has developed a draft policy regarding Naming our Places and Spaces and we want to hear what you think.
Yes, this is your chance to tell us what you like ... or maybe let us know if something isn’t clear! We truly believe it’s important that you have your say on what’s happening in, and around, your City.
We’ve used your ideas alongside the “Policies and Standards for Geographical Naming in Western Australia” policy to shape our own policy for Naming of Parks, Reserves, Streets and Infrastructure. We now need you to take a look and let us know what you think.

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners, the Whadjuk Noongar People as the Custodians of this land. We also pay respect to all Aboriginal community Elders, past, present and future who have and continue to reside in the area and have been an integral part of the history of this region.
