No burning is permitted at any time for Perth Hills on Friday, 10 April and Saturday, 11 April 2020.
NO BURNING IS PERMITTED WHEN FIRE RATING IS VERY HIGH OR ABOVE
With the Fire Danger rating for Perth Hills set to be Very High for both Friday, 11 April 2020 and Saturday, 12 April 2020 no burning will be permitted including garden refuse at any time or any place.
Under, the Bush Fire Act Section 24D it states:
Burning garden refuse prohibited if fire danger very high to catastrophic
A person must not burn garden refuse at any place
at any time when there is in force a fire danger forecast issued for that place by the Bureau of Meteorology in Perth of “catastrophic”, “extreme”, “severe” or “very high”.
Penalty: $3 000.
