About:
Anderson Road Reserve is made up of several land parcels along Anderson Road and Moira Ave, Forrestfield. The reserve is of a medium size (ca. 41,946 m2) and is irregularly-shaped, but it contains a diverse array of plants and animals characteristic of the Forrestfield area.
The Friends of Anderson Road are a small but active group who have used local partnerships with community to enhance its regular environmental activities. These most often include weed control, rubbish collection and restoration planting, but they also occasionally carry out Phosphite stem injection to protect trees from Phytophthora Dieback.
