Our Aim

Youth Services

The City of Kalamunda recognises young people as valued members of the community, enhancing their quality of life by ensuring that young people have access to facilities and services, which are responsive to their needs, and that Council processes are inclusive of young people.

The City of Kalamunda coordinates a range of events, activities, programs and services for young people aged between 12 to 25 years old. These programs aim to enhance and create opportunities for young people, empower and support young people and showcase the range of talents young people have to offer.

In 2016 the City of Kalamunda undertook comprehensive consultation with the young people who live in the City of Kalamunda about their community, their needs and what they value. Over 600 young people were directly consulted and the results were collated to produce the 2017-2022 City of Kalamunda Youth Plan.

If you have any ideas or feedback about youth services and activities in the City of Kalamunda please contact the Youth Team directly on 9257 9968 or email: youth@kalamunda.wa.gov.au
