Gymnasium
Hartfield Park Recreation Centre’s Gymnasium is a spacious gym with an extensive range of cardio equipment including cross-trainers, treadmills, bikes and a rower. The weights area consists of a dumbbell and barbell free weights section with EZ and Olympic bars. The gym also comprises of various pin loaded machines catering for every ones training needs. Our gymnasium is staffed by qualified health and fitness instructors who provide professional and personalised service and advice to help you with any of your training needs.
Boot Camp
Boot Camp is a fun, motivating, highly exhilarating military style group fitness program. Exercises may be performed in an indoor or outdoor environment. It is an intense 4 week training regime that will give you serious results. To enroll in the next course please contact the staff at Hartfield Park Recreation Centre.
Personal Training (PT)
PT provides you with confidence and motivation to achieve all of your personal fitness goals. Whether it's to lose weight, firm up, get fit or build muscle, the one on one training sessions with one of our qualified trainers will encourage personal improvement and help goal achievement. PT is available to all members at Hartfield Park Recreation Centre. To book your one hour training session please contact the recreation staff on 9359 1700.
Group Fitness
If the weights equipment is not your style, or the thought of pounding the pavement doesn’t appeal, check out the latest fitness phenomenon to arrive at Hartfield Park Recreation Centre. Attending our highly motivating group fitness classes lead by qualified instructors is a great way to get fit and healthy. Hartfield Park Recreation Centre current group fitness brochure consist of 19 classes including BODYPUMP™, BODYSTEP™, BODYBALANCE™, ABT Blast, Super Circuit and Pilates. Living Longer Living Stronger
The highly successful seniors program, Living Longer Living Stronger has taken off at Hartfield Park Recreation Centre. Giving new motivation to seniors over 50’s, the centre now has twelve classes per week. Living Longer Living Stronger is a controlled strength training programme designed for over 50’s to help develop balance, coordination, muscle mass and bone density. Other benefits include the reduction in arthritis, pain and the management of Type II diabetes and depression. |
