Parks and Reserves
The Shire of Kalamunda provides a large number of parks and reserves for a wide range of community activities. Sporting clubs, schools, tourists, local residents and others enjoy bushland, trails, parkland and sporting ovals every day of the week.
Stirk Park in central Kalamunda is an icon within the local parks and reserves system. It offers a range of recreation and leisure activities including playgrounds, BBQ’s, picnic tables and a sound shell for public performances. It has a strong family focus and is a popular venue for picnics. Disabled access is available throughout the park and the Liberty Swing is also available for community use. The Liberty Swing allows wheelchair - bound children and adults the oppertunity to exercise the joy of having a swing in the park.

BBQ’s
