MKSEA - LPS No.3 - Amendment 89

Rezoning to Light and General Industrial

The Council of the Shire of Kalamunda adopted Amendment 89 to Local Planning Scheme 3 at its special meeting on 6 February 2017. The proposal is to rezone the area on the below plan to Light and General Industrial. By doing so, the Local Planning Scheme will be brought into alignment with the Metropolitan Region Scheme, which has previously rezoned the land to Industrial.

The industrial zones seek to satisfy requirements of the Shire’s Local Planning Strategy and the State Government’s Economic and Employment Lands Strategy. Technical studies have been conducted to inform this Amendment and are available for viewing below.
