This site is owned and operated by the Shire of Kalamunda for the purpose of providing information and news to ratepayers, residents and visitors. Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us.

The Shire of Kalamunda  gathers two types of information about users:

Optional Voluntary Information
We offer the following services, which require some type of voluntary submission of personal information by users:
• Requests for service/information: The information gathered will be recorded in the Shires Records Management System as a normal Customer Service Request, however the information will remain confidential and for the purpose of the request only. This can also include submission of email addresses and related details while requesting tender and related document downloads.

Usage tracking
The Shire of Kalamunda tracks user traffic patterns throughout our site. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. This information is gathered from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser). This tracking of usage helps us to determine what pages or viewed more than others helping us to provide a better online service.

Sharing of the Information
The Shire of Kalamunda uses the above-described information to tailor our content to suit your needs. We will not share information about individual users with any third party, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public.
