Industry leaders will be heading to Kalamunda this November to share current housing trends in the aged care industry. Hosted by the City of Kalamunda, the event will be opened by Minister for Aged Care, Hon Ken Wyatt AM MP and will include presentations from CEOs of Bethanie and Alzheimer’s WA, Chris How and Rhonda Parker.

Mayor John Giardina said, “We have been working for several years with our Aged Care Advisory Committee to promote aged care in various forms throughout the community.  Kalamunda has a very high population of senior citizens and the issue of aged care accommodation and services is a high priority.”

Following key note speakers Chris How and Rhonda Parker, the City will provide an overview on its current work on aged care developments and housing diversity. A Q&A panel session will take place, providing attendees greater insight into the how and why of what’s happening. There will also be a chance to participate in a “Big Ideas Board” workshop, where you can share your ideas and vision for the future. To top it off, attendees will be given a glimpse into the world of tiny houses, the new accommodation type taking the world by storm.

Everyone is invited to attend the event, which will be held at the Kalamunda Agricultural Hall on 3 November. Food and drink for the day will be provided and participants are encouraged to stay on for the post-event networking session.

Registrations are essential, so secure your spot today here.
