Interested residents, community groups and sporting clubs are invited to attend a presentation evening hosted by the City of Kalamunda, on the consultation results for the Maida Vale Reserve Draft Master Plan.

Mayor John Giardina said, “It’s been fantastic to see so many of our community members getting involved and sharing their feedback on the plan during the public comment period.”

The City has been working with community and stakeholder groups on the plan since early 2018. The initial consultation involved a visioning exercise, where the community was invited to share their vision and aspirations for the reserve. The feedback was used to develop the draft Master Plan, which details the proposed upgrades to the Reserve over the coming years.

Council approved the Draft Master Plan for the purpose of public advertising in July 2018. Community members were encouraged to share their feedback on the draft plan through submissions, surveys and workshops.

The City and ABV have since collated the feedback and invite you to a presentation evening covering the findings of the community consultation process and the potential refinements to the draft.

A presentation on the consultation findings and next steps will be held at Norm Sadler Pavilion from 6pm on Wednesday 19 September. All interested community members are invited to attend and can RSVP to the City of Kalamunda on 9257 9841 or enquiries@kalamunda.wa.gov.au.
