Summer Series Movie Festival

The City of Kalamunda is offering free outdoor movie screenings this summer and entertainment, kids activities and food vans for an easy dinner idea.  Come along and enjoy all the latest releases in an outdoor setting, on a warm evening, from January 5 this summer.

Venues include Stirk Park, the Pickering Brook Sports Club, the Perth Observatory in Bickley, Hartfield Park, Wattle Grove Nature Playground and Jacaranda Springs. Summer series even offers a movie screening at Kanyana.

Screening commences between 7.30 - 8pm depending on sunset but food vans are set up from 5.30pm.  Come along and enjoy the pre-screening entertainment and have a picnic dinner while your children play and eat popcorn.

CEO Rhonda Hardy said she was delighted to offer the events as part of the City’s commitment to a vibrant Summer Series, with the aim of connecting communities.

“We kick off the summer series with our first screening on January 5, and there is no better way to enjoy the balmy weather than an outdoor screening enjoying a film and a picnic in the summer evenings.”
