Preparing for Storms

The City of Kalamunda is committed to assisting residents and ratepayers for preparation and protection of our community through the Preparing for Storms Community Awareness program, as we enter the winter season.

Mayor John Giardina said he invited all residents to attend one of the community Information Nights.

“The program has been introduced to assist all residents to prepare, safely respond and recover from the impact of storms on and around their homes and land.”

“I invite members of the community to join us at one of our fantastic Community Storm Safety Information nights to help you plan, prepare, respond and recover from severe storms,” Cr Giardina said.

Presentations will include information prepared from the City of Kalamunda staff, the SES, Our City Ranger services, the Police and the Red Cross. The first session will be held on 7 June 2018 at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre, 48 Canning Road Kalamunda. The second session will be at the Woodlupine Family and Community Centre, 88 Hale Road, Forrestfield on 12th June 2018. Sessions will start at 6:00pm.
