Get involved in restoring your local bushland at one of our community planting days in Maida Vale or Gooseberry Hill during May 2017.
Shire of Kalamunda Environmental Friends Groups invite community members to come and get their hands dirty and have some down-to-earth fun to help enhance local reserves.
Shire President Andrew Waddell said, “Community Planting Days are a great opportunity for people to make a contribution to their natural environment and connect with others.”
“Planting native shrubs and trees helps to enhance local biodiversity, improve our living environment and protect natural habitats for our native fauna. Everyone is welcome to join in and help the revegetation and creation of permanent new homes for our wildlife,” he said.
