Corymbia Festival

Local Indigenous entertainer Phil Walley-Stack will be the headline act of the annual Corymbia Multicultural Festival this month.

Walleystack, one of Australia’s top didgeridoo players and admired entertainers, draws on his culture and life experiences to deliver powerful performances.

His first song, “Strong” was nominated for a West Australian Music Industry Association 2009 Song of the Year Award in the “World and Folk” and “Outstanding Indigenous” categories. Walleystack backed this up again in 2010 as a top 5 finalist in the 2010 National Musicoz awards for the “World/Folk” category.

Winner of the prestigious NAIDOC Artist of the Year award in 2011, Walley-Stack performances are a “must-see” for everyone.

Phil’s appearance and the remainder of the festival’s live music line-up is expected to be confirmed later this month.

The day is sure to be jam-packed with fun and excitement, including multicultural food stalls, free amusement rides & inflatable fun for all ages, arts & crafts activities, face painting, market stalls and a special fireworks finale!

This free community event is proudly presented by the City of Kalamunda.
