The City of Kalamunda is introducing a new and exciting program for adults which will run at the High Wycombe Community and Recreation Centre.
Start the New Year learning how to cook easy nutritious and delicious meals, without breaking the bank.
Mayor John Giardina said “Cooking is a great way to improve your health and wellbeing and is a very popular hobby for many people”.
“Our school holiday program, the Kids Cooking Club has been very popular with children, so the adult cooking classes are a great extension of this success and enable us to reach out to a different age group in our community”.
“Cooking classes are a great way for people to learn how to prepare healthy foods and the basics of nutrition, all in a social and supportive environment”.
The Foothills Cooking Classes will run for eight weeks at High Wycombe Community and Recreation Centre, commencing on Wednesday 20 February 2019. Classes run for two hours from 5:45pm to 7:45pm and cost $158.50 per student per term.
With only eight places available, enrol early to avoid disappointment.
