Do you have a new digital camera and haven’t learnt to drive it yet? Would you like to take a better photo but don’t know where to start? Or do you already have some amazing photos but they’re still stuck inside your camera and you don’t know how to get them out? High Wycombe Library is pleased to host a free Absolute Beginners Photography Workshop on Tuesday 10 March 2015 from 9:30am to 11:00am.
Join avid photography enthusiast and president of the West Australian Photographic Federation Ric McDonald as he gives an introductory talk on how to operate your digital camera as well as take ordinary photos and turn them into amazing ones!
Shire President Sue Bilich said, “This a great opportunity for beginner photographers to come and learn how to shoot, store and access photos on your digital camera with ease.”
“Ric has a wealth of tips and tricks on how to take good photos and will provide participants with easy-to-follow information on how to become a better photographer.”
Residents are encouraged to bring their enthusiastic self and sense of humour; a camera no matter how big, small, new or old as long as it is digital; and, importantly, a camera manual.
Ric McDonald said, “By the end of the workshop you will have a much better understanding of the difference between a “happy snap” and a photo you might like to hang on the wall.”
Ric is the past president of the Gem Camera Club in Kalamunda and is currently Education Officer at the Club.
Bookings for the workshop are essential. Book online at www.trybooking.com/116782 or contact the High Wycombe Library on 9257 9974 or email email@example.com.
