Biodiversity Workshop: 20 April 2018

Celebrity presenter, Chris Ferreira, will join ecologists Mike and Mandy Bamford in an evening showcasing Kalamunda’s unique plants and animal life.  The workshop will be held at the Kalamunda Agricultural Hall on Friday 20 April 2018.

The evening, hosted by the City of Kalamunda and the Forever Project, is aimed at inspiring and empowering sustainable communities.

Attendees will be given information on environmental programs and how they can better identify and manage the threats to natural areas in their neighbourhood. They’ll also get the chance to meet local volunteers who will explain how to become involved with biodiversity protection in the City of Kalamunda.

Mayor John Giardina said the City of Kalamunda was excited to host the free event which would be a valuable learning experience.

“Biodiversity and the environment are key priorities for residents in the City of Kalamunda. We’re pleased to partner with the Forever Project to help deliver important information and encourage the community to get involved.”

The Forever Project is a multi-award winning organisation from Western Australia providing education about meaningful and useful sustainability practices and empowering people to make a difference in their local environment.
