Zig Zag Community Arts Festival --- will be 25 on the 25th
Sunday 25th of October will be a special day to celebrate 25 years of the Zig Zag Community Arts Festival. The Festival will be held at Stirk Park in Kalamunda between 11 am and 8 pm.
The theme of the Festival this year is ZilverlinkZ--to celebrate our links with the community.
The Festival this year is focused on celebrating and nurturing scores of creative partnerships and collaborations in the local community to celebrate the rich cultural life in the Hills.
The Zig Zag Festival attracts thousands of locals and visitors to Kalamunda each year to enjoy this vibrant community event.
A growing number of local schools, community groups, local artists and community service groups will all contribute to the excitement and diversity of Festival day.
The Festival Parade starts at 6 pm. It will feature many community groups and will be lead by a huge 25 segment caterpillar float built by the Venturer Scouts of Kalamunda.
Each year there are craft stalls and food stalls All these elements will combine on Festival day in Stirk Park where there will be three stages of entertainment, scores of arts and crafts stalls, fine food on site and a kids activity area with many free activities that will delight children and their families.
