Majestique School of Dance presents their adaption of Peta Pan. An all-female cast, based very loosely upon Sir James M. Barrie's 1904 play about a boy who refuses to grow up. The story begins in the London nursery of the Darling children, where shortly thereafter they are visited by Peta Pan (Erin Rutley). With the help of her tiny friend, Tinkerbell (Emily Johnson), Peta takes Wendy (Indi Waller) and the children on a magical flight to Neverland. This enchanted island is home to Peter, Tinkerbell, the Lost Boys, Tiger Lily (Dannielle Lori) and her Native tribe. An adventure ensues, as a scheming pirate named Captain Hooky (Eboni Freeth) and her sidekick Smee, (Erin McIlwraith), capture the children, the lost boys and Tigerlilly. Her intentions are to make them walk the plank should Peta not hand herself over. Peta Pan of course comes to their rescue and a battle ensues. Rather than lose her dignity once more, Captain Hooky offers Peta a drink as a truce, but Tinkerbell has seen the Captain putting poison in Peta's drink and she snatches it from Peta's hands. She drinks it herself. Tinkerbell falls to the ground unconscious as Peta begs for her to wake up. The audience is then asked to help bring back Tinkerbell from certain death. Will Tinkerbell survive? Will Captain Hook be defeated once and for all? And will the Darling children find their way home. You'll just have to wait and see!
