Meal Tickets is a story about Kalamunda SHS students by KSHS students. It follows the band "Screwtop Detonators" ( made of up Kala SHS students) as they try and make their way in the music world across Australia and the USA. It was filmed and directed by Mat de Koning (KSHS alumni) and Brooke Tia Silcox (KSHS alumni). It won Best Director and Best Documentary at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival in 2017.
