Temporary Food Stalls
Temporary food stalls may be approved for fundraising or charity groups who intend to conduct a single event in which food is sold to the public (Eg cake stalls and sausage sizzles).
Temporary permits are issued to monitor which events are taking place and to provide food handling information to the stall holders.
Organisations seeking to hold a temporary event are required to complete a Temporary Event Application Form and return it to the Shire’s Health Service at least two weeks prior to the event. Approval should also be sought from the owner or manager whose land the event is to take place on. If the stall is to operate outside an existing business please ensure you have approval from the business proprietor.
