The City of Kalamunda is calling for public comment on the draft Terms of Reference for the new Strategic Sport and Recreation Community Committee. It is proposed the new Committee will assess and prioritise Expression of Interest (EOI) applications submitted from sporting/recreational clubs toward any new or major upgrade projects received through the City’s Capital Grants program and to make recommendations to Council for funding. The committee would also review and validate Sport and Recreation projects identified in the City’s Ten Year Long Term Financial Plan.

In 2012, the City of Kalamunda, in partnership with the Shire of Mundaring and the Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPAW), developed the Perth Hills Trails Master Plan (2013) to guide future trails provision across the Perth Hills over the next 15-20 years.Please assist the City by providing your feedback on the proposed Stage 1 plans.

Council at its Ordinary Meeting held 28th of August 2017 resolved to adopt the revised P-DEV 20 – Outbuildings and Sea Containers Policy for the purpose of advertising. The Policy has been reviewed and revised with the purpose of providing guidance for the community where there is a proposal to construct an outbuilding or incorporate a sea container on their property.

Notice is hereby given that the Local Government of the City of Kalamunda has received an application for the purpose of developing a mobile telecommunications infrastructure at Lot 3 – (12) Carolyn Way, Forrestfield. The 40m high monopole is to be located at the above address and will support existing infrastructure already on site.
